About Ray Street Children's Centre

Castlemaine, VIC, 3450

Our care and education service is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and provides quality long day care and education for children ages six weeks to six years.

Our experienced and qualified educators provide programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework including a specialised Kindergarten program taught by a qualified teacher; aimed at preparing children for school and beyond.

In addition to quality care and education the centre provides nappies and nutritious meals as part of the fees.

We believe in our children learning the importance of protecting and respecting the environment.

Our outdoor areas boast vegetable patches for the children to grow and maintain a worm farm and water tank.

We are very team and family focused and strive to treat each and every family member (and educator) as though they are part of our family.

We welcome you to contact the centre or drop by at any time to meet the team and learn more.

I have been working in child care for the past 10 years, all of which have been here at Ray Street Children's Centre.

The childcare subsidy calculator above also calculates the childcare fees you pay - weekly, quarterly and annually.

When calculating this figure, it considers the childcare rate for all of your children, as well as the average time they spend in childcare.

Be aware that this is an estimation. The actual figure will vary depending on the amount of childcare actually attended by your child.
