Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Nelson Bay East is centrally located, close to local schools, shops and main roads, as well as public transport and community facilities.

It is a great location for families living in Fingal Bay, Shoal Bay, Nelson Bay, Corlette, Salamander Bay and surrounding areas.Our experienced and qualified staff offer knowledge of the local area and what is available to families, and pride themselves on building strong working relationships with families and strong bonds with the children in their care.Our staff go to great lengths to provide meaningful and educational programs for all ages, providing children with the skills to become confident, life-long learners.Our setting provides an environment which empowers children to engage independently, and extend on their interests, strengths and abilities.Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities.

Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.Our families enjoy our welcoming atmosphere and desire to accommodate their needs.

Families also enjoy coming together for our special events such as Grandparent's Day, World Food Week, Community Week and Graduation.Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication.

This also means we can tailor each program to the child's individual needs, interests and strengths- as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment.

With everything from natural and manmade play surfaces, to sandpits, verandahs and vege patches with worm farm, we offer a fun and safe environment in which the children can learn and let their imaginations roam.We also have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals for the children when tummies start to growl.Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience.
