Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Kelso- Gilmour Street is located in a residential area close to community facilities, main roads and local shops and schools.We believe that by providing individually programmed experiences, in line with the Early Years' Learning Framework, in a warm and secure environment, we provide the stimulation, education, enrichment and most importantly fun that are the basis of a wonderful early learning environment.Our core staff is a vibrant mix of newly graduated and more experienced staff, which is complimented with a reliable relief pool.

This blend enables us to provide the children in our care with a consistent, secure environment.We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child's individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families.

That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children's developments, milestones and achievements.Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children's awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.We have an organic vegetable and sensory garden in our "back block".

With the dedication of staff and parents we have already completed a chicken coop, worm farm and "spring lamb project".

Nature is a wonderful tool to spark wonder and imagination in children and as such, each room has their own pet, including yabbies, turtles, fish birds and axolotls.We also have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals for the children when tummies start to growl.Our parent committee and community involvement has developed over the last three years and we have had the opportunity to provide the children in our care with wonderful experiences as a result.We have developed strong ties with our local support agencies including Bathurst Early Intervention Services, The Benevolent Society, Bi-Cultural Support Pool and CWIS in an endeavour to enrich every child entrusted in our care.We warmly welcome new families, so please stop by!
