About Catholiccare Tasmania - Sacred Heart Outside School Hours Care Launceston
Sacred Heart School is situated in the centre of the city of Launceston.
Our school is a double stream school with two of each grade level from Kindergarten to Grade Six.
We have a total of 450 students and 55 staff members.
We are fortunate to have the Church of the Apostles on our site along with the Launceston Parish Centre.
They provide a visible spiritual connection to our school, a beautiful backdrop to our inner city grounds and playground.
In 2016 we will start Stage 2 of our Capital Project Master Plan; the redevelopment of our Grade 3 and 4 learning spaces, including connecting the P-2 learning centre to this building and library.
Our Grade 5 classes will move into this precinct by the end of 2016, creating a P-5 learning hub with our Grade 6 and Kinders sharing the original St.
This development promises to create engaging, flexible and adaptable learning spaces for students to learn in a variety of ways.
