About Ashfield Little Bunnies Day Care Centre

Our aim at this service is to provide the possibility of a warm, fun and caring atmosphere where children experiance belong and be secure.

The service takes an active role in caring for its environment.

The service is a role model in its community in caring for the environment and contributing to a sustainable future (Being Green).

The possibility of developing a sense of trust and partnership between parents, children and the educators that may evolve through being able to communicate various needs and knowing that these needs will be respected.

All children and educators are given equal opportunities regardless of their gender, cultural diversity and socio economic background.

It is important to develop a consistency between services practices at home and those at our service to enhance the children's overall feeling of security within themselves and to develop strong relationships with the adults in our centre.

We use the Early Years Learning Framework combined with the Australian curriculum to support and enhance young children's learning.

'Belonging, Being and Becoming' is a key document for our educators to help develop quality in our early childhood setting.
