Year 3 and 4 students are immersed in the world of sustainability through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Gardens program.
They maintain our worm farms, our vegetable garden areas, participate in 'Cool Australia' learning and lead the learning through the 'Green Team', a student leadership team in this area.
The cooking part of the program is hosted in the new kitchen facility that provides an opportunity for all students to join in.
From 2014, students in year Prep and year 6 have been working with a teacher in Mandarin Chinese.
This is a cultural language program that focuses on developing in students the global understanding of another culture.
This program will grow each year through the school.
We have a Sister school in Xi'an in China and have worked with a school using technology in Korea.
