About Being3 Kindergarten -
Thank you for your enquiry at being3 Kindergarten. We are pleased that you are considering being3 for your child’s early years education and hope to be able to answer any questions that you might have.
We are a Kindergarten offering a Quality Kindergarten Program for 3 and 4 year old children 5 days per week. Please note, that we are not a childcare service and do not cater for children under the age of 3 years.
Our extended kindergarten hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm) allow children sufficient time to engage in a quality program, revisiting experiences and activities as desired, participate in group times and stop for a snack and lunch time (food brought from home). There is also an opportunity for a quiet period in the middle of the day for the children to rest and restore their energy for the afternoon program, for some children this means a sleep on a mattress while others it may just be quiet activities. During the aftercare program, afternoon tea of seasonal fresh fruit is supplied for your child.
The number of days in which your child attends is completely up to you and you have the opportunity to choose which days suit you and your family best.
Our long day program is a huge benefit for families who may be working, studying or have other family commitments which make the 9am drop off or 3.30pm pick up a little difficult.
We offer an orientation process to help you and your child settle into our Kindergarten. We strive to connect with families, promoting strong supportive relationships between the parents and our teachers.
We feel that it is important for us to connect with the community and as part of that we will work closely with the local primary schools to be able support you through to the next chapter of your child’s education.
Our fees are charged on a weekly basis. For families who are eligible, the child care subsidy (CCS) can be applied for some fee assistance.
