About Tablelands Family Day Care Scheme
Family Day Care on the Atherton Tablelands commenced operation on 27th April 1987 as the Atherton Family Day Care Scheme with the Atherton Shire Council as Licensee.
Due to the amalgamation of all Tableland Shires in 2008 Tablelands Regional Council became Licensee and the Scheme underwent a name change to become Tablelands Family Day Care Scheme.
Tablelands Family Day Care is situated at 95 Kennedy Hwy,Tolga and has become Incorporated (consituted as a legal corporation, (TRC no longer Licensee) with 4 Executive members & employs 3 staff, Manager, Co-ordinator (also contract coordinator based at Ingham) and one Administration officer and has Educators in most Tableland towns and areas between Mirriwinni and Ingham (Cairns & Kuranda areas not included).
