About CDU Child Care Centre
We are a 50 place Centre located at Charles Darwin University with long-term educators ranging from 5- 20 years experiences. Our Centre provides caring, nurturing and stimulating environments for childrens development.
- The Charles Darwin University Child Care Centre is administered by the Finance and Asset Services Division of the University.
- The Centre is licensed for 50 children from preferably 6weeks to 5 years and is for use by the students and staff of the University.
- If during the childs placement, parents complete courses and/or are no longer working for the University, the childs continued placement cannot be guaranteed.
- The Centres policy is that children remain in their designated group until they are developmentally ready to move on to the next group.
- It is the Centres policy to employ staff who are qualified and experienced in the care and education of children.
- All staff are required to hold a current Working with Children Card (Ochre card) Senior First Aid Certificate and a current Fire Awareness Certificate.
